13th century window InGlazed! 👐 Our flexible seal saved the day 🧡
It allows for our secondary clear acrylic glazing to be magnetically applied to beautifully imperfect windows 💫
We were set the challenge of applying InGlaze to this gorgeous 13th century building on Royal Deeside. The issue was that the window (unsurprisingly) is not perfectly straight and has a brass latch that protrudes beyond the frame.
This is an example of why we invented our specialised rubber seal. The seal provides flexibility, allowing the acrylic to seat nicely over the frame creating a thermal seal that stops drafts and heat loss.
